Wychwood School, Oxford, Advanced Level Results, 2022

Posted: 18th August 2022

We are delighted with the Study II A-Level results this year – with 70% of grades awarded at A*-B and 15% of those were at A*, we have maintained the level we expected pre-covid. Every girl passed every A-level retaining our 100% pass rate at A-level. The EPQ results again were excellent with 80% A* grades.  These young people, who have never before had the opportunity to test themselves against their peers, have risen to the challenge of public examination with resilience and stamina and considerable courage – we congratulate them.

Our leavers will be going to universities ranging from Kings London, Edinburgh, St Andrews to Falmouth to read courses ranging from Joint Honours French and Spanish, to biology to Art history and Liberal Arts and we know they are well prepared, possessing the study skills, dedication and love of their respective subjects to thrive.  Mrs Johnson, Head, said: “The girls have been well rewarded for their endeavours.  We wish them every success and will watch their progress with interest and great affection. The staff have been the backbone of these young people’s successes and as a body of teachers, we are immensely proud of the leavers today.”
