Wychwood Association News No. 1
Dear Wychwood Association members,
As a proud former Wychwood pupil (Shell 1984), I was honoured to take over from the wonderful Johanna Stephenson as Chair of the Wychwood Association (WA) in January this year. I am very much looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible over the coming months and years.
I am delighted that my first communication to members is to enclose the very first edition of the Wychwood Association News. This is a new initiative to keep you up to date with WA news and activities, as well as the latest from the school. We aim to bring you three issues a year, and you will also be able to find it on the WA section of the website (https://wa.wychwoodschool.org/wa/). We look forward to receiving your feedback as it develops.
We have all been living through unprecedented times, and the school is no exception. However, I’m delighted to say that the school and the WA are both in excellent shape, and looking forward with great positivity. This first issue of the Wychwood Association News includes an exciting update about an investor for the school, reflections on the recent 1980s Zoom Reunion and an insight from Head Andrea Johnson into how the school has been managing through Covid-19. We hope you find it fun and informative.
In the meantime, may I wish you all a very happy Easter holidays and I look forward to keeping in touch.
Jo Holmes
Chair, Wychwood Association
