Study students enjoyed visiting the Royal Academy of Arts on Monday which has just celebrated its 250th year by opening its newly expanded site. One of the students who would like to study Architecture at University was particularly struck by the gallery spaces combining old and contemporary architecture.
The first gallery we visited had just opened and contained paintings and sculptures by Michelangelo, Constable and Gainsborough. The students worked very hard within the Klimt and Schiele exhibition drawing from the original works of art; struck by the economy of line and angular forms.
