Studio Tour brings magic to Wychwood

On Sunday an excited group of boarders and day girls ventured through the snowy conditions to the land of muggles to enjoy a fabulous day at the Warner Brothers ‘Making of Harry Potter’ experience. We had the chance to stand in the Great Hall, which had been set for the Yule Ball and featured a stunning ice sculpture and exploding Christmas puddings. We were amazed by the detail of the sets and props. Although nobody chose to ride on a broomstick, we encountered the spiders of the Forbidden Forest, tried desperately to get through the wall to catch the Hogwart’s Express, and ambled through Diagon Alley. The tour ended with the spectacular model of the castle. A truly magical day was had by us all.
