Remove and Inters Visit Oxford Castle

The Remove and Inters enjoyed a fascinating visit to Oxford Castle on Wednesday 27th June as a part of their lower school history course. Both groups were shown around by guides dressed as characters from when the site was Oxford prison. We were regaled with some pretty hair-raising and scary stories from it’s one thousand year history….very much a case of horrible histories! Following our tour, the girls had a workshop in which they got to handle primary sources and develop their skills of interpretation. They also had fun dressing up!
