Remove and Inters Hockey Team remain unbeaten

Posted: 31st October 2018

Remove & Inters Vs. Rye Sm

Wychwood 2 – 0 Rye St Antony

The Remove and Inters hockey team travelled away to Rye St Antony school to play a fixture that was postponed prior to half term due to bad weather. The girls were a little unsettled in the first half and despite having the majority of the possession struggled to capitalise on their chances. The girls were more confident in the second half and some better movement and more assertive leads enabled them to find the space, linking strong passes together to score a great team goal. With only a couple of minutes to go, our defence were able to hold off a moment of pressure from Rye by putting in some well composed tackles, regaining possession of the ball. Wychwood were able to break away and score a second well deserved goal, to seal the 2-0 win.
