Wychwood 233 – 232 OHPS

The Remove and Inters cricket team went the short distance to OHPS on Wednesday 1st May to play their first ever cricket fixture. The girls played 8 aside softball cricket and for many of our team this was their first competitive experience of the game. Each girl contributed equally by both batting and bowling for one over each. Wychwood were fielding second and with two balls to go had to defend their score of 233 to OHPS’ 230. Effective fielding from the Wychwood girls meant that the opposition were only able to add another 2 runs to the board meaning we came away with a close, but well deserved win by one run.
