National Apprenticeship Week

As part of National Apprenticeship Week at the start of February we were delighted to welcome Shilpa Bhatt, the Apprenticeships Business Manager for the Oxford University Hospital Foundation Trust and Sian Meredith, a current apprentice, to assembly to talk to the girls about apprenticeships with the NHS in Oxford. Shilpa gave a presentation about apprenticeships and how it is possible to do a business related apprenticeship as well as a medical apprenticeship with the NHS. Sian spoke about what it is actually like to be an apprentice and about the choices she made when deciding whether to go to university of do an apprenticeship.

This was organised by our careers department as part of our commitment to showcase all opportunities available to girls after they leave Wychwood.
