The Moon comes to Wychwood

On Wednesday 7th February the Lower Transits were treated to an astrochemistry masterclass from Hayley Smith, a lead educator with the National Space Academy. The students used thermochromic paint to investigate why rockets look the way they do. There was also time for a question and answer session on all things space related followed by a chance to hold a genuine meteorite from the moon!

It was a fantastic day and we thank Hayley and the National Space Academy for a fascinating insight.
