As a part of their course on Religion and Identity, the LTs visited the Oxford Synagogue in Jericho on Monday. The girls were able to view the great Torah scrolls housed in the Ark and learn about the symbolism behind the different artefacts in the synagogue and the architecture of the building. A member of the congregation, Mr Ward,  spoke to the girls about Judaism and fielded many interesting questions that they asked. We were left with a real insight into what it means to be Jewish.
