Inters trip to Coventry Cathedral
Posted: 16th May 2019
Coventry cathedral stands as a witness both to the horrors of war, and also to the fact that peace and reconciliation can then be forged between nations formerly in conflict. The art and architecture of the new cathedral expresses the Christian teachings boldly through the eyes of prominent 20th century artists and never fails to inspire. The Inters thoroughly enjoyed their visit and were also privileged to see the visiting ‘Knife angel’ sculpture, standing at 27 feet and made as a memorial to those who have suffered through knife crimes.
