Inters straight into the action at Coventry Cathedral
Posted: 12th March 2020
As soon as the Inters arrived at Coventry Cathedral they were taken to climb the 160 steps to the top of the old medieval cathedral tower which certainly woke them up after the coach drive. From there they could view all that remains of the old cathedral after its bombing in 1940. From the rubble emerged the new Coventry Cathedral, a symbol of the resurrection and the reconciliation that has since taken place between nations once at war. The Inters learned not only about the Christian message writ large in architecture, but also in the art of many significant 20th century artists.
