Congratulations Class of 2019

The A Level results for 2019 were received today with Wychwood girls achieving 22.2% A* grades, well above last year’s national average for independent schools of 17%.

Results in the STEM subjects are 100% A* grades, and in Spanish, Geography and Art are 100% A*-B, demonstrating the breadth of the excellent teaching at Wychwood.

The Head, Mrs Johnson, said “The results this year have been a pleasure to receive – girls who have worked hard have been rewarded in kind and we congratulate them wholeheartedly. We congratulate Milli on her four straight A* grades and wish her every success as she moves on to Warwick (having turned down Natural Sciences at Cambridge). Our leavers are moving into universities as widespread as Warwick, Leeds Beckett, Goldsmiths and Brighton to read a variety of subjects as broad as the variety of individuals in the year group including Physics, Arts Management and Psychology. We look forward to hearing how the girls get on.”
